PED DIRECTIVE 97/23 / EC Pressure Equipment: The Directive covers only the placing on the market of the equipment. All equipment in pressure with a pressure greater than 0.5 bar must undergo a preliminary examination to evaluate if they fall within the scope of the Directive and if they meet the compliance requirements of the Directive itself. In case of positive result of such preliminary examination, the pressure equipment must then bear the CE marking, followed by the notification number of the Notified Body involved in the production control phase.

T-PED DIRECTIVE 1999/36 / EC Transportable pressure equipment: The Directive summarizes with a special signature, the "π" products that have three characteristics: the pressure, the hazard and susceptibility to Transport. It is containers of various nature and shape intended for the transport of gas, such as air cylinders for liquid gas (LPG) or oxygen. The EU Directive includes both newly manufactured products (with the requirements of T-PED) and periodic inspections to verify the maintenance of security requirements necessary for the re-use of products under pressure, both the existing equipment on the market for which applies to the procedure of "revaluation" to the T-PED. This procedure by a document assessment of Notified possibly supplemented with tests of response shows that the product meets the requirements of T-PED.

Service of supervision of loading operations: to ensure that the goods are loaded and properly protected, whether they are transported in containers, ships or trucks. A check of loading of the container may include:
- The Amount
- Traceability of products, including verification of production codes and the number of stocks than the packing slip or invoice
- Check the operating conditions inside and outside of the container
- Verification of the degree of cleaning of trailers and containers, for example, the presence of debris and insects
- Packaging
- Labelling
- Acronyms transport for regulatory compliance (such as control of the barcode)
- Documentation for any damage observed during loading
- Photographs of the processes of loading
- Documentation of the container vessel and seal number

As soon as the loading is completed, the seal is affixed on the containers to reduce the risk of tampering, theft and subtraction.

The supervision of unloading includes similar controls on the integrity of the container with respect to delivery notes and invoices, to avoid import disputes and ensure that the products reach the same state in which they were loaded.
